Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how YingZhiChu (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us" or "our") handles personal information when you visit the website www.yingzhichu.com, contact us, or use the applications we publish - Petexpense, Cornucopia, FirstTick and WinOps Toolkit (together, the "Applications").

We are the data controller for the information described below. The short version: the Applications keep your records on your own device and do not send them to us, so most of this policy is about the limited information we do handle - what you choose to tell us when you write to us, and technical data generated when you browse this website.

If you have any question about this policy or about how your personal information is handled, contact us at contact@yingzhichu.com.

1. Who We Are

This website and the Applications are operated by YingZhiChu (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., with its registered address at No. 212, Building 5, No. 16 Junying North Street, Shunyi District, Beijing, China.

You can reach us by email at contact@yingzhichu.com or by telephone at +86 18515331983 during our business hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00-18:00 (GMT+8).

2. What the Applications Store, and What We Receive

Petexpense and Cornucopia record information you enter yourself: in Petexpense, the profiles you create for your pets and the expense entries, budgets and settings you set; in Cornucopia, the amounts, categories, optional notes, dates and times you enter, together with your language and purchase settings. FirstTick stores your focus records - the scenario, duration and completion of each session - together with your theme, language, reminder settings and any background image or sound you choose. WinOps Toolkit stores the connection profiles you create - names, hosts, ports, user names, credentials, database and cluster settings and group names - together with your interface preferences.

That content is written to a database or configuration file inside the application's own storage on your device. We do not operate a server that receives, stores or can read it. We therefore cannot access your records, sell them, or hand them to anybody, and removing the application and its data from the device removes them.

Any export or share action - such as the JSON backup in our applications, or the shareable annual report image in Petexpense - is initiated by you and handled by the operating system's own sharing interface. We are not a recipient of those files unless you choose to send one to us when asking for support.

3. Information We Collect on This Website

Information you provide to us voluntarily: when you contact us by email, telephone or through other channels, we may receive your name, company name, job title, email address, telephone number, the content of your message, and any file or log you attach - for example an exported backup you send so that we can reproduce a defect.

Information collected automatically: when you visit this website, our servers and analytics tools may record technical data such as your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring page, pages visited and the date and time of your visit.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data (such as health, biometric or political data), and we ask that you do not send such information to us.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we receive for the following purposes: responding to support requests and diagnosing defects you report; answering enquiries and providing the information or services you request; maintaining and improving the content, performance and security of this website; understanding in aggregate how visitors use the site so we can improve its structure; communicating with you about our Applications where you asked us to or where we have a legitimate interest; and complying with applicable legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal effects concerning you, and we do not sell personal information.

5. Advertising and Purchases Inside the Applications

Some of our Applications display advertisements in their free versions, provided by Google AdMob; WinOps Toolkit contains no advertising and ships no advertising libraries. Where advertisements appear, advertising services may process device or advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, and information about the app and the device in order to select and measure advertisements. Google's own privacy and advertising policies explain how that data is used and how you can control it, and iOS, Android and macOS all offer a way to reset the advertising identifier or limit ad tracking in the system settings.

Advertisements disappear once you buy the upgrade or, in FirstTick, the Pro subscription inside the application. Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by the App Store, the Mac App Store or Google Play under their own terms. We receive the transaction result reported by the store - enough to recognise that your store account is entitled to the upgrade - and the store can provide the purchase price to you, but we do not receive your payment card details.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

This website uses a small number of cookies and similar storage technologies. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. We use a functional cookie to remember your language preference so that the website is displayed in your chosen language on your next visit, and we may use analytics cookies to understand aggregate visitor statistics.

You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, the language preference will not be remembered between visits, but the rest of the website will continue to work normally.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We may share personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

With service providers who process information on our behalf, such as hosting providers, email and IT service providers, under contracts that restrict them to processing your information only for the purposes we specify; with professional advisers such as lawyers, auditors and accountants where necessary; with the operator of the App Store or Google Play in connection with a purchase or a refund request you raise with them; with competent authorities where we are required to do so by law, regulation, court order or a lawful request from a public authority; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets, where information may be transferred as part of the business.

8. International Data Transfers

We are based in No. 212, Building 5, No. 16 Junying North Street, Shunyi District, Beijing, China. Depending on the service providers we use - for example website hosting and the advertising and store platforms named above - information we handle may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the country in which you are located.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure that it receives an adequate level of protection, including by entering into appropriate contractual safeguards with the recipients of the data.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as it is necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Correspondence, support tickets and enquiry records are typically retained for up to 24 months after the last contact, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law, for example for accounting, tax or contractual purposes.

Records created inside the Applications remain on your device until you delete them, delete the application, or restore the device; we hold no copy against which a deletion request could be executed. If you send us an exported backup while reporting a problem, we delete that attachment once the problem is closed.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it in a way that prevents you from being identified.

10. How We Protect Information

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction: encrypted connections (HTTPS) for this website, access controls for our internal systems, and restrictions on which staff members may access personal information.

Application data is confined to the protected storage area that the operating system allocates to the application, so it is shielded from other apps and is covered by the encryption and lock-screen protection of your device.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you; to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information; to request deletion of your personal information; to request restriction of or object to certain processing; to request portability of information you provided to us; to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Because we do not receive the content you record in the Applications, access to and deletion of that content are exercised on your device: you can delete individual entries, export everything through the backup function, or delete the application. To exercise any of the other rights, contact us at contact@yingzhichu.com. We respond within the period required by applicable law, normally within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12. Children's Privacy

This website and our services are not directed to children. Our Applications are general-purpose tools - household record keeping and, in the case of WinOps Toolkit, developer tooling - are not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. Where a younger person uses an Application with a parent or guardian, the records involved are household spending data rather than personal profiles.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at contact@yingzhichu.com and we will delete that information.

13. Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to third-party websites, including the App Store, the Mac App Store, Google Play and platform documentation. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites.

We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every website you visit through a link from this site, and the privacy label shown on each Application's store page.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, Applications or legal requirements. The revised version will be published on this page together with a new "last updated" date, and the same text is shipped inside each Application so that it stays available offline.

If we make material changes that affect your rights, we will take reasonable steps to bring the changes to your attention, for example by placing a notice on the website homepage.
