Terms of Service
Last updated: October 8, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website www.yingzhichu.com (the "Website"), the applications we publish - Petexpense, Cornucopia, FirstTick and WinOps Toolkit (the "Applications") - and any information, materials or services made available through them. All of it is provided by YingZhiChu (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us" or "our").
By accessing the Website or using an Application you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Website or the Applications.
The Applications are distributed through the App Store, the Mac App Store and Google Play, whose own terms, conditions and mandatory policies also apply and prevail over these Terms where they conflict - in particular for downloading, updating, refunding and restoring purchases.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting, browsing or otherwise using the Website, or by installing or using an Application, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
If you use the Website or an Application on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms on behalf of that organisation.
2. About Us and What We Provide
The Website and the Applications are owned and operated by YingZhiChu (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., with its registered address at No. 212, Building 5, No. 16 Junying North Street, Shunyi District, Beijing, China.
The Website provides general information about our company and our Applications, including descriptions of features, platform requirements, pricing structure and how to contact support. Information published on the Website is for general reference only and does not constitute a binding offer, professional advice or a guarantee of any particular result.
Petexpense helps households record and review what each pet costs. Cornucopia records personal expenses. FirstTick is a Pomodoro-style focus timer: it helps you structure focus and rest intervals and review your focus history, but it does not measure or guarantee productivity outcomes. WinOps Toolkit brings SSH terminals, database clients and Kubernetes into one Mac app: it is a client tool, not a hosting, monitoring or server-management service, and the security of any connection also depends on the hosts and networks you use it with. None of the Applications is a bank account, an accounting system, a tax record or a veterinary or medical service, and the totals they show are only as accurate as the entries you make.
3. Licence to Use the Applications
Subject to these Terms and to the terms of the store through which you obtained the Application, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use each Application on devices you own or control, for your own personal use.
You must not: copy, sell, sub-license, rent or distribute an Application; reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive its source code except where applicable law expressly permits it; modify it or create derivative works; disable, interfere with or circumvent its features, protective measures or advertising; use an Application to access a computer system, network or account without authorisation from its owner; or use an Application in a way that infringes the rights of any third party.
4. Your Content and Its Safety
The content you create inside an Application - records, figures or connection settings - belongs to you and is stored only in the device's local storage allocated to that Application. You are responsible for maintaining access to the device and for taking your own backups through the export function we provide.
We do not monitor, review or take responsibility for the content you record. Because we do not hold a copy of it, we cannot restore lost records after a device reset, an uninstall or a deletion that you confirmed; we may only restore them from a backup file that you send us.
Applications may be updated or discontinued. We will normally keep published versions working, but we cannot guarantee indefinite availability on every operating system or device, and we are not liable for the consequences of a device or store removing an Application.
5. In-App Purchases, Advertisements and Refunds
Some of our Applications show advertisements in their free versions; WinOps Toolkit contains no advertising. In Petexpense and Cornucopia a one-time in-app purchase removes the advertisements and, in Petexpense, additionally unlocks the features marked as part of the upgrade. In FirstTick an auto-renewable Pro subscription, monthly or yearly, removes the advertisements and unlocks custom modes, custom backgrounds and custom reminder sounds; the subscription renews until you cancel it in your store account settings. Prices are shown in the Application in the currency of your store account before you confirm.
Every purchase is processed by the App Store, the Mac App Store or Google Play, and the store's billing terms apply. If you need a refund, have a purchase problem or want to restore a purchase, the store is the party that can resolve it; the settings or profile screen inside each Application provides the entry point to restore a purchase, and we will help you with the steps we can see.
6. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of, this Website by any third party.
In particular, you must not: use the Website in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers or any connected systems; introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful code; use automated tools to scrape, copy or harvest content or data from the Website without our prior written consent; or use the Website to transmit unsolicited commercial communications.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website and in the Applications - including text, graphics, layout, logos, trademarks, icons, interface design, screenshots and software - is owned by or licensed to YingZhiChu (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may view, download and print pages from the Website for your own internal reference, provided that you do not remove any copyright or proprietary notices. Any other use, including reproduction, modification, distribution, republication or commercial exploitation, requires our prior written permission. Screenshots that you create from an Application on your own device may be shared for personal and non-commercial purposes.
8. Communications and Submissions
If you contact us through the channels published on the Website or inside an Application, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate, complete and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
You grant us permission to use the information you provide for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and providing the requested support, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
The Website and the Applications rely on third-party platforms that are not owned or controlled by us, including the App Store, the Mac App Store, Google Play, and Google AdMob for advertising where a free version shows it. We provide links to them for convenience only and do not endorse or assume responsibility for their content, privacy policies or practices.
Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of that third party.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Website and the Applications are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of the Website, the Applications or their content.
We do not warrant that any of them will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free from errors, or that defects will be corrected, and we do not warrant that the figures they display are suitable for any legal, accounting, tax, insurance or veterinary purpose. Information on the Website may be updated, changed or removed at any time without notice.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, YingZhiChu (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Website or the Applications.
Without limiting the foregoing, we are not liable for records lost because a device was reset, lost, uninstalled or restored from a point before your last backup; keeping and exporting backups is your responsibility. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YingZhiChu (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd., its officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Website or the Applications.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which YingZhiChu (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute through friendly negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the competent court or arbitration institution with jurisdiction at our registered address. Nothing in this section affects any mandatory consumer right to complain to, or bring a claim in, the courts of the country where you live, and refund and purchase disputes remain subject to the dispute process of the store that sold the Application.
14. Changes and Termination
We may revise these Terms at any time by publishing an updated version on this page together with a new "last updated" date, and we ship the same text inside each Application so that it remains available offline. Your continued use of the Website or an Application after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may also modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Website or an Application at any time without notice, and we shall not be liable to you or any third party for doing so, except that a user who has paid for an upgrade may contact us at contact@yingzhichu.com about the effect on that entitlement.
15. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the terms of the store through which you obtained an Application, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Website and the Applications and supersede any prior agreements on this subject.
